Since the advent of AI, there has been much talk and debate about whether it will replace human jobs or simply change the way we work. Judging by the current scenario and considering the impact of recent AI tools like ChatGPT, Photoshop Beta, and Sudowrite in today’s business world and in theory, it seems that it will take a long time to see robots actually performing jobs that require physical labor skills such as electrician, mechanic, plumber, etc. So, based on this trend, we can say that jobs which involve physical effort or skills are safe, at least for now, until robots become cost-effective.

So, which jobs are at risk?

The answer is straightforward: jobs that require knowledge of computers or specific applications, or any work done primarily by computers, are at risk. For example, software developers, coding, graphic designing, and data analysts appear to be at the highest risk. With users able to achieve accurate outputs simply by giving simple commands in any language, there seems to be little necessity to hire professionals to perform these tasks.

The following are jobs that may become obsolete or take on new forms in the coming days, as their existence relies heavily on software skills. However, hardware professionals will remain unaffected by AI’s influence.

For example, if I need to design the front page of a magazine, all I need to do is give a simple command or prompt for what I require. For instance, “Design a magazine cover for Fashion Magazine, featuring a blue-eyed girl with an umbrella in her hand.” I will receive multiple results which can further be edited as needed.

In conclusion, I would say that AI will replace jobs that require software skills. Jobs created by computers will likely be replaced by computers themselves.
